The patron saint of glitter, gays and deus ex machina. A-number-one homosexual on the entire Earth and from the planet Transylvania. THE GOLDEN CALF of the Modern Hollywood GAYSTAPO you must obey. Kneel and worship before the sacred altar of THE HOLY BABYGAY.
Chris Colfer as St. Kurt Hummel in GLEE.
“The most ridiculous stereotype is, ironically, Kurt the gay glee club member. Kurt puts his full gay victimhood on display. He demonstrates his complete lack of self-esteem and stereotypically effeminate ways. Watching him made me cringe and wonder how liberal gays are not livid about this over-the-top caricature of a gay teen.”

“I am a huge fan of this series and I do support the humanistic message of TOLERANCE pervading the show. However, GLEE went too far in this episode ( “Theatricality” ), painting Finn’s actions and dialogue with Kurt as black and white wrong. Though Finn descended to the primal in his criticism of Kurt, nothing was inserted by the writers and producers to indicate that Finn had been pushed to the limit by the overly aggressive and shocking behavior of Kurt.
First, I’d like to say that it’s laudable Kurt has such an overprotective father. And I can understand him not wanting others to use derogatory epithets against his son, even though Finn immediately apologized and struggled to explain. But we as the audience have to be offended as well that Kurt is portrayed as the beset upon poor soul who needs protection when it is Finn who has been assaulted.
Finn has been a terrific and very patient friend but Kurt doesn’t give a damn about Finn’s own feelings and sexuality so long as he gets what he wants.
To have done what Kurt has, pushing for a living arrangement uncomfortable to Finn and throwing himself at Finn, is downright insolent. Who wants to live with someone lusting openly for our affections in a one-sided manner, straight or gay? Their close quarters were also decorated by Kurt in a way he surely knew would make Finn uncomfortable. To essentially get a pass by the producers who decided to make Finn the bad guy simply because he’s been pushed to the extreme due to Kurt’s actions is not balanced writing.
IT SENDS THE WRONG MESSAGE. IT SENDS A SIGNAL THAT GAY PEOPLE OR ANY PUT UPON MINORITY CAN BEHAVE ANYWAY THEY LIKE, HOWEVER REPREHENSIBLE.
Had Kurt been gay and respected Finn’s personal feelings without such an overstated display, Finn would have been cool even about living in the same room with him. But Kurt only thinks of himself and, in his ignorance, essentially baits Finn. Then Kurt’s own actions get swept under the rug.
Instead of focusing on how perhaps the gay teen had gone too far, the producers presented Kurt as an independent rebel who is to be applauded instead of likewise being chastised for pushing Finn to descend to base levels. We were left with the sense that Finn was totally wrong and Kurt was the innocent victim. He was not.
Though the series should be commended for supporting gay rights and mocking prejudices on all levels, it should also note that PEOPLE BEING TARGETED ALSO HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO BEHAVE LIKE DECENT PEOPLE TO OTHERS AS WELL.”

“The verbal tongue-lashing on GLEE by Kurt’s father against Finn was NOT the proud moment in gay/straight relations that it has been sold as. Frankly, the scene is more about how a relatively reasonable person ( Finn ) lashes out at the stunning manipulations of a sexually aggressive gay a–hole ( Kurt ). Finn lost his temper and lashed out but Kurt bears responsibility as well.
Kurt’s own prior actions were every bit as wrongheaded, if not more so. Finn had been removed from his childhood home, forced to share a room with another person who has a crush on him, and must deal with the sudden fact that his mother has taken up with a new man. Yes, Finn used a gay slur but to be threatened with proverbial homelessness for losing your temper with your unwanted and sexually obnoxious new roommate is a punishment that did not fit the crime. Finn was intolerant not of Kurt’s sexuality but of Kurt’s behavior.
From a purely storytelling and character perspective, the show faltered by not acknowledging that Kurt bore some responsibility for instigating the whole affair. Kurt doesn’t seem to realize that EVERYONE OF ALL SEXUAL ORIENTATIONS SHOULD BE ABLE TO REJECT POTENTIAL SUITORS WITHOUT FEAR OF REPRISALS. In those moments involving his crazy scheme of trying to snag Finn as an unwilling roommate in order to breed eventual romantic interest, Kurt was in fact personifying every negative stereotype regarding young gay men.
The show faltered by making the whole blow-out appear to be completely Finn’s fault. By apparently letting Kurt off the hook for his own behavior and by allowing Kurt’s father to tear his new stepson into shreds without bothering to inquire what had occurred, the show failed as anything resembling a ‘Teachable Moment’ for gay representations in mainstream entertainment. The lack of appropriate follow-through inadvertently taught some genuinely awful life lessons for viewers.”

“What I don’t appreciate is the HYPOCRISY of GLEE telling me to be tolerant. I just don’t think GLEE is all that tolerant on the whole. The series gives us a bunch of flat high school stereotypes that it fleshes out whenever it’s convenient for the plot.
My biggest problem with the show is its INCONSISTENCY. One week it’s a tremendous farce and the next it’s an earnest ‘issues’ episode. The show tends to fail on both fronts. Though I admit there are occasional moments of awesome, GLEE can’t stick to a tone or a message. It’s all tell and no show with many useless platitudes.
The world of GLEE is one in which characters and plot don’t need to be developed. Kurt’s gay flamboyance and feminity are so often played for laughs. But what is his defining characteristic aside from his sexuality? And Blaine is basically perfect as a handsome, confident, out-and-proud gay man who goes to a magical all boys school where everyone is accepting. He is not a character so much as a cipher.
It’s an utterly absurd and meaningless fantasy. Maybe I expect too much from a series that has already revealed itself to be GLITTERY DRIVEL. Realistic characters, compelling storylines, a consistent message – is that really too much to ask?
GLEE is not up to the task.”

“Between his dad’s heart attack and the bullying stuff, it’s starting to feel like Kurt ( Chris Colfer ) is the only student at McKinley deemed worthy of a real story arc this season.
The bullying storyline is being handled wonderfully. The problem is that: It’s being handled. All. The. Time.
We got yet another ‘up with Kurt’ lovefest at the wedding of his dad to Finn’s mom. Seriously, the happy couple didn’t even get to be the stars of their big day since most of their vows and a bulk of the reception ( including Finn’s whiplash-inducing reversal regarding ‘his brother from another mother’ ) revolved around tributes to Kurt.
POOR HELPLESS ST. KURT, BATHED IN BEATIFIC LIGHTING AND DRAPED IN HIS VICTIMIZATION LIKE A PRADA SHROUD SO ROOMY THAT IT COVERS UP THE FACT THAT HE, TOO, HAS DONE A FAIR SHARE OF BULLYING. The show’s writers may have forgotten that he’s been a royal bitch to Rachel since the pilot. We haven’t.
This show used to be about an idealistic teacher trying to help a group of misfits find their voice through show choir. Now it’s all about a kid who is bullied at a school where there are a few less important misfits and an annoying teacher.
THE GLEE HAS GIVEN WAY TO GLOOM.“
( “Has GLEE Become The St. Kurt Show?” by Damian Holbrook, TV Guide : November 24, 2010 )
“THE LADY-GIRL HYPOCRISY : Early in the episode, Kurt called out Sue for calling him ‘Lady’ as a form of bullying. I’ll accept that, though I think calling that bullying diminishes the impact of genuine bullying.
However, later in the episode, Finn and New Directions sang a song dedicated to Kurt which included the line ‘Girl, you’re amazing just the way you are!’
How is that different from what Sue did?? It’s not so GLEE is guilty of bullying as well.
The show is SELECTIVE about what it considers bullying, which is HYPOCRITICAL and muddles whatever message it’s trying to make.
THE WHOLE BULLYING STORYLINE : I have serious problems with this whole Karofsky bullying storyline, which was put front and center.
To me, GLEE is a fantasy, a hyper-realistic comedy. So when the show tries to address real life issues in a straight forward and serious manner, it rings FALSE to me. The closeted gay jock and the death threats are all too contrived and it feels like it came out of nowhere.
Except it didn’t. It came out of the recent news stories about gay bullying and GLEE’s desire to capitalize on this trend by forcing a story into the series to show off how ‘tolerant’ and ‘politically aware’ their show is. It feels INAUTHENTIC and UNTRUE to what the show used to be, which was a care-free, fun and silly musical comedy.
Just because you have a platform to address these issues doesn’t inherently make it a good idea.
SOLUTIONS THAT SOLVE NOTHING : So Kurt left the school but Karofsky is still there. And he’ll be there whenever Kurt comes back ( which we all know he will ). And Sue stepped down as principal to help Kurt, only to have him leave school.
Both of these solutions to major plot problems are not solutions at all because the underlying problems remain.
A VERY UNSATISFYING EPISODE OF TELEVISION.
THEY NEED TO STOP MAKING EVERY EPISODE ABOUT KURT BEING GAY AND START FOCUSING MORE ON THE REST OF NEW DIRECTIONS.”
( “10 Reasons Why I Hated The GLEE Wedding Episode” by John Kubicek, www.buddytv.com : November 24, 2010 )
“The cast of GLEE is full of characters who are lovably unlovable. Except for Babygay Kurt. He is perfect in every way. Each character on GLEE has a serious flaw that makes us hate them a little bit just as we are charmed by their quirky individuality. That is except for Babygay Kurt. He is bullied and that makes him a saint with absolutely nothing wrong with him at all. He is the A-number-one homosexual on the entire Earth and from the planet Transylvania as well. Babygay Kurt can make me cry like no other and I’m so glad that there is a character like him on television, but last night’s episode was just OVERKILL with the positive messaging.
Yes, Finn is a loser for not helping Kurt not get bullied. But that’s not just true of Finn. That’s true of everyone in the school. Every person who stands by and lets someone else get bullied for any reason is part of the problem. It’s going to make you uncool to some but it will definitely win you popularity points with a lot of people. It doesn’t matter that Kurt is going to be Finn’s stepbrother or whatever. Even if he was some stranger in the hall, Finn should tell the bully to cut it out.
While Sue Sylvester’s hardline stance against bullying is nice, it’s DISINGENUOUS. What would you call what she has been doing to Will since he started the glee club? Bullying! Yes, Sue is the biggest bully of all but now she’s all ‘zero tolerance’. Bullshit. Also B.S. is Kurt’s statement that Sue calling him ‘Lady’ is bullying. That’s more of a homophobia thing than actual bullying because it’s not systematic and relentless. Sorry, Babygay Kurt, but ‘Porcelain’ isn’t any better than ‘Lady’ even though you got to pick it. ( But it sure is funny! )
So now it’s Finn’s turn to bow down at the feet of ST. KURT THE HOLY and tell him how awesome he is and how much he loves him and how he’ll always be there for him as a brother. However, none of this is really necessary. BULLYING IS WRONG NO MATTER WHO IS GETTING BULLIED. Even if Kurt was a horrible person ( like when he relentlessly hit on his future stepbrother who made it abundantly clear that he did not welcome his gay advances ), he shouldn’t get bullied.
Babygay Kurt is still pretty cool and strong but they don’t have to keep going on and on about it. Constantly extolling his many virtues is making him the most unlikable person on the show.”

“Under the deceptive guise of REPRESSIVE TOLERANCE, they ( the Political Left in Hollywood and the mainstream media ) have sanctioned and given approval to BULLYING.”

“It’s difficult being a Republican in Hollywood. Being a Republican in Hollywood is like being a Chick-fil-A sandwich on the snack table at GLEE.”

NEW BLACKLISTING. REVERSE BLACKLISTING. WHITELISTING. GRAYLISTING. PASSIONING. THE HOLLYWOOD LEFT’S P.C. APPROVED VERSIONS OF BULLYING.
And GLEE has the nerve to lecture millions of viewers about Tolerance and Diversity??
This is exactly why GLEE’s gay bullying storyline as well as Tinseltown’s prevalent anti-bullying campaign rings so blatantly false and hypocritical.
Hollywood always protects Gays and Lesbians.
BUT WHO PROTECTS THE REST OF US WHEN HOLLYWOOD ITSELF BECOMES THE BULLYING PROPAGANDA MINISTRY OF THE INTOLERANT POLITICAL LEFT ?
Not GLEE, that’s for sure.
( A very important question. Nobody on the Political Left seems to even understand the crucial significance of this question in light of the dangerously expanding culture war. )
Jesus Christ during biblical times had to deal with the Temple Pharisees. Nowadays, Christians and conservatives must learn how to carefully survive under the dictatorship of THE TINSELTOWN FAGASEES.
Temple Pharisees then. Tinseltown Fagasees today. The more things hopefully change, the more things sadly appear to stay the same.
Rest assured, we shall never forget what happened to Scott Eckern, Richard Raddon, Marjorie Christofferson, Phyllis Burgess, Christine Cloud, Carrie Prejean, Patricia Mauceri and so many others.
And, of course, everyone has recently witnessed the swift punishment inflicted upon those innocent celebrities who publicly express simple disagreement with the gay agenda like actor Kirk Cameron and boxer Manny Pacquiao.
And the GAYSTAPO’s enemies list of victims targeted for persecution keeps growing. From superstar Brad Pitt’s elderly mother to the job-creating CEO of the Chick-fil-A restaurant franchise. Who’s next???
The ugly answer came in April 2014 : Brendan Eich, CEO of Mozilla Firefox.
Then again in May 2014 : Jason and David Benham of the series “Flip It Forward”.
More recently around July 2014, Luke Grimes also became an innocent target after he resigned from the series “True Blood”.
“There is a GAY MAFIA. If you cross them, you do get whacked.” ( Bill Maher )
The GAYSTAPO executes and inflicts the A. P. G. P. a.k.a. The Anti – Proposition 8 Gaystapo Purge which is a recent mutation of THE NEW BLACKLIST.
The GAY MAFIA is what former child actor MICHAEL EGAN has been speaking of :
“I can stand in front of you all today and say that I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse in Hollywood.
I may have been more of a compliant victim but I was not willing. I was never a willing participant in what they did to me.
They ripped in and stole my soul. I became a robot.
I had such fear instilled in me. I was a non functioning person.
I didn’t know who I could trust to talk to. I buried it so deep within me.
Several people killed themselves afterwards.”
This is the dawning of A New Politically Correct FASCIST Age. Or perhaps it should better be called A New Politically Correct FAGSCIST Age.
( Please don’t sabotage this site. It would ultimately be the moral equivalent of World War II Nazis burning the diary of Anne Frank. )
IF ONE WANTS TO PREACH IN FAVOR OF TOLERANCE, EQUALITY, LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE TO OTHERS, YOU MUST OPENLY PRACTISE SAID VIRTUES IN YOUR OWN PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIVES FIRST.
